The Theme:
This painting is an ode to the men who could only express their love in the shadows. The men who paved the way for me. The men who, by necessity, were forced to summarize their longing, their love and their fear through a kiss. Men who were forced to live off illicit moments, away from the prying eyes of a society that shunned them.
