Fae

Fairies have long lived in the imagination of the world. They are a mix of the dark, the seductive, the wild. This “Fae” is inspired by Keat’s “La Belle Dame sans merci”. She stares at anyone who looks at her, ready to cast her spell of seduction and death. I like to think  that her hair carries with it the bitter tang of freshly crushed grass and the sugary scent of overripe fruit. And that underneath the tangle of her jewels and her gown, her hand is reaching out to those who look at her.
